(commonly referred to as LCD2004) is a mature character display
module with low cost, easy integration, and moderate power
consumption as its core advantages. It is suitable for text display
requirements in industrial and embedded scenarios.

Display Specifications: Utilizing the Super Twisted Nematic (STN)
liquid crystal technology, it presents a single-color display
effect with a fixed yellow-green background and dark characters.
Each row displays 20 characters, totaling 4 rows. Each character is
a 5×8 dot matrix, capable of displaying numbers, letters, symbols,
and simple custom graphics. The total number of displayable
characters is 80, suitable for basic text interaction.
Core Components and Drivers: It is equipped with controllers such
as KS0066 and ST7066U that are compatible with HD44780, supporting
1/16 duty cycle and 1/5 bias. The interface is mainly 16PIN
parallel (including 8-bit MPU data port), and some support I²C
conversion, reducing the MCU pin occupation; the backlight is
mostly yellow-green LEDs, with a transmissive-receptive design that
balances visibility in both bright and dim light environments. The
typical power supply is 5V, and the wide-temperature model can
cover -40°C to +85°C, meeting strict working conditions.
