The Granular Activated Carbon Strength Tester is a specialized instrument for measuring the abrasion resistance of activated carbon. It is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T 12496.6-1999 "Test Methods for Wood-Based Activated Carbon - Determination of Strength" and also complies with national standard GB/T 7702.3-2008 "Test Methods for Coal-Based Granular Activated Carbon - Determination of Strength". It is also suitable for the measurement and analysis of granular materials with similar properties.

It can measure the strength of various granules, such as spherical, extruded, and flake-shaped materials, catalysts, and catalyst carriers; it provides data analysis for improving the proportioning of granular materials.

Remarks

1. In accordance with standards GB/T 12496.6 and GB/T 7702.3-2008.

2. For coal-based activated carbon, a special activated carbon strength drum with longitudinal ribs is used. 3. For wood-based activated carbon in columnar form, use a special activated carbon strength cylinder with internal longitudinal ribs.

4. For wood-based activated carbon in irregular granular form, use a special activated carbon strength cylinder without internal longitudinal ribs.

5. If both coal-based and wood-based activated carbon strengths are to be measured, it is recommended to have two additional cylinders, i.e., two activated carbon strength cylinders with longitudinal ribs and two without longitudinal ribs.
