Titanium carbonitride-gloss black powder, is a zero-dimensional ternary solid solutions powder, TiC and TiN is the basis of titanium carbonitride, has a face-centered cubic lattice of NaCl-type structure, at the same time ,it can form a solid solution powder with the TaC, NbC, and other metal carbides.Titanium carbonnitride is a single TiC of lattice, nitrogen atmos (N) occupies the original carbon atoms (C) position in the lattice forms complex compounds, percentage of carbon and nitrogen atoms in the TiCxNy there are two ideal types of modes, namely, TiC0.5N0.5 and TiC0.3N0.7.Due to the comprehensive system with TiC and TiN, TiCN, its hardness is higher than TiC and TiN and is therefore an ideal tool coating materials.Titanium carbonitride coating and substrate bond strength can be improved, while integrated with various materials.


Application

Titanium carbonitride combines the advantages of TiC and TiN, and has a high melting point, high hardness, wear resistance, oxidation, corrosion-resistant properties, and have good thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, and chemical stability, widely used in cutting tools, powder metallurgy and metal ceramics.
