The piston rod is a connecting part that supports the work of the
piston. It is a moving part with frequent movement and high
technical requirements, which is mostly used in the moving parts of
the oil cylinder and the cylinder. Taking the hydraulic cylinder as
an example, it is composed of cylinder, piston rod (cylinder rod),
piston and end cover. The quality of its processing directly
affects the life and reliability of the whole product. The
machining requirements of the piston rod are high, the surface
roughness requirements are Ra0.4 ~ 0.8μm, and the coaxiality and
wear resistance requirements are strict. So what are the technical
requirements for the processing of piston rod?
1. Dimensional accuracy:
If it is a supporting role, then the piston rod size accuracy
requirements are relatively high, but if it is the assembly drive,
then the requirements can be relatively low.
2. Surface roughness:
If the shaft diameter is matched with the transmission part, the
surface roughness of the piston rod is RA2.5-0.6um, if it is
matched with the bearing, it is RA0.63-0.16um.
3, mutual position accuracy:
It is necessary to ensure the coaxiality requirement of the journal
to the supporting journal, otherwise the transmission accuracy will
be affected.
4. Geometric shape accuracy:
It mainly refers to roundness, cylindricity, etc., and its
tolerance should be within the range of dimensional tolerance.
